Gold 5/21/10 Low Spiral Calendar Alignments

Posted: under Commodities, Past Market Analysis.

The recent 5/21/10 low in Gold aligns with a remarkable number of previous highs and lows.
Does this mean we have turned higher and are heading for new highs, or is it just a wave A or wave 1 down that is catching alignments?

Spiral Calendar Alignments With the April 26th High

Posted: under Past Market Analysis, Stocks.

If April 26th proves to be a significant top, as now seems likely, it is interesting to see how it is linked to the all time high on October 11th, 2007 by the f16 spiral interval, and to several other highs and lows (f12, f9, f6).

February 2010 Spiral Calendar Dates

Posted: under Past Market Analysis, Predictions, Spiraldate Score Charts.

Spiral Calendar Daily Scores For February, 2010

February predictions center around a peak on the 8th and another lower, broader peak on the 14th-15th coinciding with the new moon on the 14th. Full moon is on the 28th.
January’s prediction of a turn on the 16th (Saturday) was nicely centered on the actual near-double top on the 15th and 19th and made an excellent short on either day.

January 2010 Spiral Calendar Dates

Posted: under Past Market Analysis, Predictions, Spiraldate Score Charts.

Spiral Calendar Daily Scores For January, 2010

January predictions (above chart) show a major score peak (a turn date – not necessarily a high) on the 16th one day after the new moon. There are also minor peaks on the 7th and 29th.
So how did we do with the December predictions? The three peaks on the 1st, 11th-12th, and 26th-27th all were within 1 day of the end of a rally move, although the first two were not long term highs, and the last, while both the intraday high and closing high on the 28th are currently the high for the month and year, is still open depending on what the market does next.

Sleeping Dogs In The Church Plaza, Oia Village, Santorini Island, Greece
As predicted, the summer snooze is happening, as befits a B-wave. However we may have to wake up, scratch that itch, yawn a little, and roll over the other way before we nod off for another month as we are near a spiral cluster and have what can be counted as three waves down from the June 11 high. Several different markets could make a low here, so it may be more a case of the influence of the dollar than any individual market technicals/fundamentals. A turn may hardly be noticeable until several days after the fact as we are likely entering a b wave of B of the Primary wave 2 upward correction. There are different categories of sleep, rapid-eye movement, dreaming shallow sleep, and deep sleep. I think we are entering the latter phase. I expect markets to go sideways until fall/autumn.

Spiral Alignments In Oil From 2/18/09 Low

The recent oil low on 2/18/09 has a lot of spiral alignments with prior highs and lows including the all time high on 7/11/08 (first chart). Another set of alignments will be in place in the next day or two, 3/10/09-3/11/09 (second chart).
This coincides with similar turning point predictions in Gold and Stocks.

The Curious Case Of October 23rd, 2006

Posted: under Past Market Analysis, Predictions.

Does time run only forwards, or can it run backwards also? Can it run forwards and backwards simultaneously? This is the premise at the core of the movie “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” in which Brad Pitt’s character is born a baby but physically old, and gradually gets younger through time.
What makes it interesting is the love affair he has with Cate Blanchett’s character who lives in normal forward running time and as a young girl befriends the old Benjamin. The plot, like Titanic, is predictable, but is sustained by the roller coaster ride of the relationship as the pair age in opposite directions, sometimes they are inseparable, and at others they forget each other completely.

So what does this have to do with the spiral calendar? Take the case of October 23rd, 2006. While the date itself is unremarkable in market terms – just another day of wall-climbing somewhere near the middle of the fifth wave of the 2002-2007 rally – the spirals running backwards and forwards from this date are remarkable. Both sets align with multiple tops and bottoms very closely. The first chart (click charts to enlarge) shows spiral dates running backwards , and the second chart shows them running forward.
The obvious question is what date is the next spiral date, f16, running forwards from Oct 23rd, 2006?
The answer is May 7th, 2009. There are f12,f13,f14,f16,and f17 alignments from past highs and lows in the May 6th to May 9th range so May 7th is a very promising date spiral-wise. Given typical May weakness, I speculate that it might mark the top of the Obama Honeymoon period.
