Spiral Calendar Daily Scores For January 2011

January 2011 has several peaks on the 4th-5th, 8th-9th-10th, 15th, 19th-20th, and 27th-28th-29th-30th. Given that the market appears very close to a top of major significance, possibly completing the rally from the March 2009 low, the dates early in the month may be good places to go short if the market rallies into those dates.
December’s market was nearly all upwards however the spiral turn dates predicted on the 2nd and 9th-10th corresponded respectively with the top of the initial and strongest advance for the month, and the corrective low immediately following it.

Solstice Lunar Eclipse on Dec 21st

Posted: under Forex, Predictions, Stocks.

Both spirals and Elliott Wave counts are compatible with a significant stock market top in the near future, possibly aligning with the Lunar eclipse on Dec 21st, 2010. The eclipse is well timed for viewers in North America and may be worth a look late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning depending on your timezone. An excellent page for this eclipse giving complete details is published by Fred Espenak (Mr. Eclipse).

Bond Market Turned Last Week?

Posted: under Predictions.
Tags: ,

One chart I missed over the weekend is that of TLT that is showing strong spiral calendar alignments for last Wednesday 12/8/10. We can count 5 waves down from the August top so a turn likely occurred last week.

At the Crest Of Primary Wave 2?

Posted: under Commodities, Predictions, Stocks.

The persistent rally in stocks together with sentiment extremes and declining technicals seems to be shifting the Elliott Wave consensus away from a minor 4 subwave to minor 5 itself, implying that primary wave 2 could be topping now. Gold appears to be poised to take off again to another new high.

I recommend clicking on each chart to see the enlarged version as browsers tend to do awful things to shrunken images, such as remove price bars entirely.

Santa Claus Starting His Run Already?

Equities appear to have made a low at the Thanksgiving spiral cluster and are now heading higher in what is most likely minor wave 5 that may carry into the new year.
