Many tech stocks exhibit good spiral calendar alignments backwards from today March 24th 2011 to prior highs and lows. Tech seems to agree with metal that a top may be forming and a decline may be imminent.

Gold – GLD

Gold had a reversal day today and is now showing several excellent spiral calendar alignments with prior highs and lows. Did we just see the top? Silver and Copper are also showing good alignments today.

April 2011 Spiraldates Score Chart

Spiral Calendar Daily Scores For US Stocks For April 2011

April 2011 shows three strong evenly spaced peaks on the 3rd coinciding with the new moon, on the 15th a couple of days before the full moon on the 18th, and on 26th April.

March predictions for a turn on the 5th/6th were close to the actual turn on 3rd/4th, but the peak on the 21st didn’t match the actual low on the 16th. For the record we are not aware of any correlation between the lunar calendar and earthquakes so do not believe the tragic events in Japan are anything other than unpredictable fault ruptures and are not related the the “supermoon” (extremely close lunar perigee) on March 19th. The Nikkei crash and partial recovery on March 15th/16th may have been precipitated by the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disasters, and may have influenced other markets to make their short term lows also, but the Nikkei has been in decline since 2/17/2011 and before that from a higher point on 4/5/2010.

US Dollar Turning Higher?

The US Dollar – UUP – is currently sporting several good spiral calendar alignments. The question is which way will a turn go given the volatility of the last few days after the tragic events in Japan. My bet is that the long-awaited dollar turn higher is the most likely outcome.

Nifty Rally Topped on Friday March 4th?

By request here is a chart for S&P CNX Nifty 50 (^NSEI), with a spiral calendar grid drawn backward from Friday’s high on March 4th. There are good spiral calendar alignments at F1, F4, F6, F8, indicating that date was likely the top of a three-wave corrective rally from the February 11th, 2011 low.
I recommend clicking on the chart to see the enlarged version as browsers tend to do awful things to shrunken images, such as remove price bars entirely.

Gold’s price action over the last year seems to be conforming to the spiral calendar intervals originating on the Feb 5th 2010 low. The next spiral calendar interval, f13, will fall on May 2nd, 2011.

AMZN Ready To Turn Higher?

Posted: under Predictions, Stocks.
Tags: ,

Amazon AMZN

AMZN has plenty of spiral calendar alignments on March 2nd: f1, f3, f4, f5,f6,f7,f8,f12,f13 indicating a possible turn higher ending a corrective flat wave 4 from the Jan 18th high. Other stocks and indices are not as clear and may require more time to complete their respective wave 4s since they started a month later than AMZN. This conflicts with the preferred Elliott Wave count for the broader market which is that Intermediate C of Primary wave 2 topped on Feb 18th. The Feb 18th highs (Jan 18th for AMZN) are the limit of any upside if the bearish count is to survive, and AMZN may provide an early counter-example of bullish price behavior.
