There is a big cluster this coming weekend 4th-7th December. Note this was shown as 3rd-4th December in the last chart.
The difference is caused by the way trading days are approximated by scaling Spiral calendar calculations done in calendar days linearly with no account taken of holidays other than that there are 10 US holidays per year.
Immediately before and after Thanksgiving is when this makes the most difference.
So will December 7th, 2015 be a date that will live in infamy?

So the wave 2 high came on November 3rd just 4 days after Daneric’s Elliott Wave predicted.

The current decline could be wave 1 of an extended move down or wave a of a correction, in either case we are somewhere in subwave iii with likely more downside before a bounce. It’s unlikely that it’s a near complete a-b-c zig-zag correction because it’s steeper at the moment than the advance from the September 29th low to the November 3rd high. Zig-zags tend to have a less steep wave c than wave a (whereas flat corrections are the opposite).

There are few spirals in the outlook – a cluster next Tuesday and then a big cluster on 3rd-4th December.

The market has continued higher despite many spiral clusters but is now very extended and it’s easy to count the wave structure as complete at today’s high.
Daneric’s Elliott Wave has been predicting higher prices all through the rally until yesterday, and now he thinks a top at today’s high fits the count best.

We appear to be at or near the top of the advance from Sept 29th which may be wave c of 4 of the decline so far.
The spiral clusters seem to hit on the tops of third waves of varying degree within the c wave.
Also the spirals for these clusters are more long term than usual as indicated by the large aggregate spiral numbers I have highlighted on the chart.
This might indicate a more significant top is likely.

The rally since the Sept 29th low now looks complete or nearly so and the presence of two 5-spiral clusters indicates the top may have been today or will be tomorrow Oct 13th.
From an Elliott Wave perspective the current rally may be wave a of 2, implying several weeks of rally, or maybe wave C of 4 of 1, which implies a decline to a new low below the September 29th and August 24th/25th lows. If the market declines, the character of the decline will indicate which option is the most likely: a choppy decline might be wave b of 2, but an impulsive decline is more likely to be the start of wave 3 especially if it takes out the Sept 29th low.

The market declined as we expected and made a low on a 6-spiral cluster on September 29th.
The rally since the low doesn’t look complete even though the top of Monday October 5th’s strong rally matched a 7-spiral cluster.
From an Elliott Wave perspective the current rally may be wave a of 2, implying several weeks of rally, or maybe wave C of 4 of 1, which implies a decline to a new low below the September 29th and August 24th/25th lows.

The market traded sideways into the Fed non-announcement and is now ripe for a decline. There are large clusters on the horizon at the end of September and on October 5th.

We got the expected low on Monday and again on Tuesday and bounced higher during the rest of the week and have now retraced a good portion of the steepest part of the decline that we have labeled wave 3.
We are probably near a wave 4 high as of Friday’s close, and we expect another sharp decline starting early next week to complete wave 5 of the entire decline from the July 20 top. There is a new moon and partial solar eclipse on September 13th and extreme moves have in the past ended approximately two days before the new moon so our time target for the bottom of wave 5 is near Friday September 11th.

Another interpretation is that Friday’s high is just wave a of 4 which would imply either a trading range between Monday’s low and Friday’s high for a couple of weeks, or a continuation of the wave 4 rally higher after a relatively small b wave decline.

There are also some large spiral clusters showing up near the end of September and the one on the 24th will also include the one lunar month (29.53 days) anniversary of the wave 3 low on August 24th/25th. We will need to see how price behaves during September to be able to predict what is likely on those cluster dates.

Just to reiterate we think this is just the initial phase of the decline and we expect to go much lower before the bear market is done.
